For decades, local Highlands County residents had the opportunity to hear The Barry Foster Show on AM730 WWTK. The popular News Director of the Highlands Radio Group had a steady stream of guests, calls and opinions about the issues of the day.

Later, the technology became available so people around the world could hear the program via the internet. But the program only was broadcast live, so that should you not be listening between 8-10am Eastern Time on weekdays, it was gone forever.

Barry stepped away from the radio in May of 2024. Now, several months later, he’s picking up the microphone again. However, instead of terrestrial radio, Barry will be on a podcast. There still will be plenty of guests and opinions, however, now the shows will be archived so listeners may call them up and listen at their convenience.

Additionally, the Central Florida Cities platform at sebring.com will feature more than 60 cities, providing a hub of information for listeners throughout the Sunshine State, the nation and the world.

It is an exciting time, and we think listeners to The Barry Foster Show will be both informed and entertained as he brings new people, places and things to the Internet.
